Kofta Kabobs Recipe

Kofta Kabobs are a traditional Middle Eastern dish made of ground meat, spices, and onions. Traditionally, they are cooked on a skewer over an open flame or on a grill. These kabobs are tasty, juicy, and simple to make. They're ideal for a summer barbecue or a quick weeknight meal.

  • Total Time: 32 minutes

Instructions

  • To avoid burning, soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes.
  • Combine ground beef, onion, parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, allspice, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  • Make 8-10 equal portions of the mixture and shape them into long, sausage-like shapes around the skewers.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and brush the grate lightly with oil.
  • Grill the kofta kabobs for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through.
  • Serve with rice, salad, and tzatziki sauce, if desired.
